The dataset contains state/UT wise data about various crimes in India.

1. Cases against Police Personnels
Three csv files corresponding to each year from 2016-2018.
It contains data about number of cases against police personnels for violation of various rules, number of the cases registered or ended, number of police personnels convicted, etc.

2. Escapes from Police Custody
Three csv files corresponding to each year from 2016-2018. It contains data about number of escapees that escaped from police custody or outside police custody, number of escapees that were re-arrested, etc.

3. Victims of Rape
Three csv files corresponding to each year from 2016-2018. It contains data about number of victims of rape - Child and Women which is further divided into age groups of below 18 or above 18.

4. Kidnapping & Abduction
Three csv files corresponding from 2001-2012, 2013, 2014. The data refers to State/UT-wise details on total number of cases reported under Kidnapping & Abduction and number of victims of murder by purpose. All persons are categorized into male and female. The Age group of victims (both male and female) of murders are classified into 0-10, 10-15, 15-18, 18-30, 30-50, 50 & above. The various purposes listed for kidnapping and abduction are for Adoption, For Begging, For Camel racing, For Illicit intercourse, For marriage, For Prostitution, For Ransom, For Revenge, For Sale, For Selling body parts, For Slavery, For unlawful activity, For unlawful activity and Others.
